If a busy schedule or frequent travel makes regular visits hard, Virtual Care may fit your needs. Patients who live far from our office, travel often, or are deployed service members with uncomplicated cases may be eligible for Virtual Care appointments after their required in-office visits. We offer this as a convenience, and we customize it to each patient.
Virtual monitoring begins after two in-office appointments. The first is a records appointment with an iTero scan, photos, and CBCT capture, and the second is a treatment appointment where attachments are placed and interproximal reduction is completed. After that, the My Invisalign App guides you through each aligner change and lets you submit progress records, which are one video and three photos, with clear instructions that keep the process easy. If treatment is not tracking properly or a patient is not following the plan, in-office visits may still be required.

Dr. Wiman is a proud veteran who served as an officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy and as a GS-15 dentist with the Veterans Health Administration. He earned his degree at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, completed a U.S. Navy AEGD residency at Camp Lejeune, and graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
